Sam Calagione Honors Boston Beer Founder Jim Koch in Induction Ceremony Live from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
Boston Beer Company founder and brewer, Jim Koch, was recently named to the American Craft Beer Hall of Fame inaugural class of inductees alongside eleven of craft beer’s most respected and visionary names including: Fred Eckhardt; Charles and Rose Ann Finkel; Bert Grant; Ken Grossman; Michael Jackson; Fritz Maytag; Jack McAuliffe, Jane Zimmerman, and Suzy Stern; and Charlie Papazian.
The twelve inductees for enshrinement in The Hall represent diverse facets of the industry from brewery owners and brewers to writers and educators. Each has contributed greatly to the growth and development of craft beer.
In a ceremony live streamed on Saturday, February 15, from the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE, Sam Calagione raised a glass to Jim and the other inductees.
